China Post Signs Agreement with CITIC Group

Vice-General Manager of China Post Group Kang Ning Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Vice-General Manager of CITIC Group Pu Jian at a ceremony on December 19 in Beijing to begin cooperation in financial services, express delivery, logistics and postal services.

General Manager of China Post Group Li Guohua and General Manager of CITIC Group Wang Jiong also attended the event.

Subsidiary financial institutions at the two enterprises will cooperate in banking, securities, futures, trusts, insurance, asset management, leasing and funds. They will also share business resources and provide support for each other's development.

According to the agreement, the two groups will jointly implement brand promotion, customer care, market development and other activities while exploring more cooperation in leasing of cargo aircraft and maintenance.

Relying on their own advantages, the two sides said they will fully enhance the value of real estate resources, strengthen business cooperation and jointly expand in overseas markets.

CITIC Group Corp. Ltd., formerly China International Trust and Investment Corp., is a State-owned investment company with 44 subsidiaries that invests in financial services, real estate development, project contracting, infrastructure, resources, energy, machinery manufacturing and information services.
